John Paul Dela Rosa is a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer with over 11 years of experience in Engineering Design and Management of Offshore/Onshore/Buildings/Infrastructure and Industrial projects. He is knowledgeable in international codes and standards of API, DNV, ISO, NORSOK, BS EN, AISC, ASCE, IBC, UBC, ACI, AASHTO, OSHA, and AWS. John is well-versed in using SACS, SESAM, STAAD, USFOS, TEKLA, ProSteel, AutoCAD, and PDMS. He has strong experience in structural steel, concrete, and post-tensioned concrete elements applied in a variety of structures like oil and gas offshore platforms, onshore refineries, water structures, buildings, foundations and piles, and underground structures. He is skilled in static analysis, dynamic analysis, fatigue analysis, pushover analysis, and finite element analysis. John is currently working as a Director/Structural Engineering Lecturer at Xstructures, where he is responsible for managing and coordinating the design and engineering team.
